Bank Transactions
What this screen is for
Bank Transactions is for reviewing imported bank activity. Use it to check payments, match transactions to accounting records, and identify unmatched cash movement.
Before you start
Confirm the bank feed or import is current. Know the account, date range, and payment reference you expect to review. Check the synced-through date on live bank sources so you know how far the feed has caught up.
Basic walkthrough
- Open Bank Transactions from the Data group.
- Review the transaction list for unmatched or newly imported rows.
- Open a transaction and compare the amount, date, and description to the expected document or ledger item.
- Match the transaction to the correct bookkeeping record when available.
- Leave unmatched transactions visible for follow-up instead of guessing.
What to check next
Use Bank connections to map accounts or reconnect when consent has lapsed. Use Payments Due for supplier payment follow-up. Use Inbox when a transaction needs a new accounting draft, and Bookkeeping for posted-ledger follow-up.
