Chart of Accounts

What this screen is for​

Chart of Accounts shows the accounts available for bookkeeping. Use it to check whether the expected BAS account exists, is active, and has the right meaning before choosing it in review work.

Before you start​

Know the account number or account name you expect to use. If the account comes from an accounting-system sync, confirm that the integration has finished.

Basic walkthrough​

  1. Open Chart of Accounts from the accounting tools.
  2. Search by account number, account name, class, or status.
  3. Open the account details and check whether it is active.
  4. Use the account in Bookkeeping only when the label and class match the work.
  5. Leave uncertain mappings for follow-up instead of guessing.

What to check next​

Use Bookkeeping to review entries that use the account. Use Integrations if the account list should come from a connected accounting system.
