What it connects​

Shopify connects a Shopify store to Igdrasil for Shopify Payments payout and balance activity. The current scope is settlement activity for reconciliation, not a full order-accounting import.

What Igdrasil imports​

  • Connects one store by its {store}.myshopify.com domain.
  • Imports Shopify Payments balance transactions and payouts into the platform feed.
  • Groups activity so payouts can be reconciled against bank deposits.
  • Writes ledger drafts from the feed into the voucher series you choose for the connection.

Requirements​

Use a store with Shopify Payments enabled. Create a custom Shopify app in the store admin and keep its Admin API access token ready. Grant read scopes for Orders and Shopify Payments (balance and account). Know the exact {store}.myshopify.com domain.

Connect steps​

  1. Open Integrations from the Workspace group.
  2. Select Shopify.
  3. Enter the store domain, for example acme.myshopify.com.
  4. Paste the Admin API access token from Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps.
  5. Choose the voucher series for drafts created from Shopify activity (or keep the default series suggested for the connection).
  6. Select Connect with access token.
  7. Confirm the connected shop and open the Shopify dashboard from Automations when you want to review sync status.

One-click OAuth connect is shown as coming soon until the Igdrasil Shopify app is published. Use the Admin API token path today.

First checks​

Compare one payout in Igdrasil with Shopify Payments before using the feed for period review. Confirm new drafts use the voucher series you selected.

Daily use​

Use Shopify imports to prepare payout and balance activity for bank reconciliation and bookkeeping review. Manage recurring sync and accounting groups from the Shopify dashboard under Automations.

Troubleshooting​

If the connection fails, confirm the shop domain uses the myshopify.com form, the token still has the required read scopes, and Shopify Payments is available for the store. If journals land on an unexpected series, update the voucher series on the connection before the next sync.

Disconnect and data handling​

Disconnecting disables the Shopify connection and removes future feed access. Previously imported accounting evidence remains in Igdrasil.
